Invite the robot

Schools, libraries, scout troops, STEM nights, community events.

An invitation, and that is the whole ask. We come to you, bring a competition robot, and let people drive it.

Route two

Team to team

Rookie teams, Florida teams, and anyone who wants to scrimmage.

Nothing. This one runs the other way: specific questions answered, our CAD and code shared, practice matches.

Route three

Mentor the build

Engineers, machinists, programmers, and anyone who has shipped something physical under a deadline.

Roughly two hours a week between September and February, in person in Orlando or over video. Less is genuinely fine.

Invite the robot

What we are asking
An invitation. We come to you.
What a visit looks like
We bring a competition robot and give live demos. We can also present about other aspects of our team if that suits the audience better.
What we need from you
A space roughly the size of a classroom, a power outlet (preferably), and about two weeks of notice. More notice is better during build season.
First step
Tell us the date and roughly how many people. We will let you know if we can make it as soon as possible.

What we are asking
Nothing. This one runs the other way.
What we offer
Answers to specific questions, our CAD and code on the resources page, practice matches, and help getting a first robot moving. We were a rookie team in 2024 and remember exactly which parts were confusing.
What we get
Better competition, and the only reliable way to find out whether we actually understand something is to try to explain it.
First step
Ask us one question. Use the form, or send a message on Instagram. There is no wrong question and we would rather have it early than watch you lose a month to it.
Route three

Mentor the build

What we are asking
Roughly two hours a week between September and February, in person in Orlando or over video. Less is genuinely fine. Several of the most useful conversations we have had lasted forty minutes.
What we are short on
Machining and fabrication, control theory, and anyone who has run a real engineering design review and can teach us to run ours properly.
What you get
Students who write things down, turn up, and will take your critique seriously. Everything we do is documented in the log, so you can see how we work before you commit to anything.
First step
One design review, forty five minutes, over video. We show you what we are building, you tell us what is wrong with it. If it is not for you, that is a complete and useful contribution and we will say thank you and mean it.
